Join us in celebrating and praising God for His blessings upon Courtland Avenue Church of Christ as we mark 90 years in Quitman, Georgia. This year's anniversary theme is "90 Years and Still Here, Rooted and Grounded in the Faith" (Col 2:6-8). Our guest speaker for the occasion is Bro. Jack Evans, Jr. from Dallas, Fort Worth, Texas. Brother Evans is a national and international evangelist for Churches of Christ. He is a powerful proclaimer of the Word of God and a well-versed gospel preacher. With 45 years of preaching experience, he served for 33 years as Director of Admissions and Retention at Southwestern Christian College and 23 years as minister of Lake Como Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas. A graduate of Southwestern Christian College and Abilene Christian University, Brother Evans is recognized as a renowned motivational speaker both nationally and internationally. He is also the author of eight books, including "The God of a Second Chance," "What's Love Got to Do With It," and "Trouble in the Hood." Brother Evans and his wife, Vicky, have three children and nine grandchildren. He is passionate about hunting, fishing, and rodeo!
